A compression arm sleeve is the standard day-to-day tool for managing lymphedema and chronic arm swelling. By applying graduated pressure — firmest at the wrist, easing towards the shoulder — it helps move lymph fluid up the arm and keeps swelling from rebuilding during the day.

Sleeves are usually combined with a separate gauntlet or glove: compressing the arm alone can push fluid into the hand, so covering the hand matters if you notice swelling there. Compression class is typically CCL1 (18–21 mmHg) or CCL2 (23–32 mmHg) — your therapist or doctor will advise which is right for you.
