Lymphedema is a chronic condition caused by damage or obstruction to the lymphatic system, resulting in persistent swelling — most commonly in the arms or legs. In the UAE it is most frequently seen following cancer treatment, particularly breast cancer surgery, but also occurs in its primary (hereditary) form.
Medical-grade compression is the cornerstone of long-term management. Applied correctly and consistently, compression garments reduce limb volume, control swelling progression, support Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and are essential during the maintenance phase of Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT).
Which type is right for you?
Ready-made garments are suitable for most patients with standard limb dimensions and early to moderate lymphedema. They are held in stock and dispatched the same day.
Custom flat-knit garments are made to your exact measurements at the Juzo factory in Aichach, Bavaria. They are recommended when limb shape is irregular, lymphedema is advanced, or when ready-made garments have not provided adequate control.

From fitting to delivery in four steps.
We book a fitting appointment — in our Business Bay clinic, at your home, or virtually. Our Juzo-certified specialist measures the affected limb, selects the correct flat-knit structure and compression class, and specifies the garment. Your order is placed directly with Juzo Germany and manufactured in Aichach, Bavaria. Garments typically arrive within 3–4 weeks. On delivery we verify the fit and demonstrate correct donning technique. Your measurements are saved for future reorders.
What the research says.
Compression garments are the primary conservative treatment for lymphoedema maintenance. Flat-knit garments are recommended for complex or advanced cases due to superior stiffness and custom fit capability.
Patients using CCL 2 garments showed significant reduction in excess limb volume compared to controls. Compliance was highest with well-fitted custom garments.
24-hour compression protocols incorporating night garments showed greater total limb volume reduction versus daytime-only compression.
Common questions.
Most patients are prescribed CCL 2 (23–32 mmHg) for maintenance. CCL 1 may be used for mild or early-stage oedema. CCL 3–4 are reserved for severe or chronic cases. Your treating specialist will confirm — or book a fitting with our team for guidance.
Ready-made garments come in standard sizes and suit most patients with uncomplicated lymphedema. Custom flat-knit garments are manufactured to your exact measurements and are recommended for irregular limb shapes, advanced lymphedema, or inadequate control with ready-made options.
Custom Juzo garments are manufactured in Bavaria and typically arrive within 3–4 weeks of measurement confirmation.
For daily use, replacement every 4–6 months is recommended. We track your garment age and send a reminder — your measurements are saved for easy reordering.
Yes. We offer home visit fittings across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Our specialist will measure the affected limb and recommend the appropriate garment and compression class.
