What compression therapy does
Medical compression applies graduated pressure, strongest at the ankle or wrist and easing as it travels up the limb, so that veins and lymph vessels are supported in moving fluid back towards the heart. It is used for varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency, for lymphoedema and lipoedema, after liposuction, abdominoplasty, BBL and breast surgery, and during burn and scar therapy.
Choosing a compression class
Compression is graded in mmHg: CCL 1 is 18-21 mmHg, CCL 2 is 23-32 mmHg, CCL 3 is 34-46 mmHg and CCL 4 is 49 mmHg and above. Lighter classes suit prevention, travel and mild symptoms. CCL 2 and above are therapeutic and should be chosen with the doctor or therapist treating you, because the right class follows your diagnosis rather than how the garment feels.
Ready-made and made-to-measure
Ready-made garments come in standard sizes and fit most limbs. When a limb is a shape no standard size follows, which is common in lymphoedema, lipoedema and after burns, a flat-knit garment is made to your own measurements instead. Both are available here, and a fitting appointment establishes which one you need.
Brands we carry
Healfit is the official Juzo distributor in the UAE and also stocks Revee post-surgical garments, Arion donning aids and Compressana hosiery. Every item is a genuine medical device from its manufacturer.
Fitting, delivery and support
Measurements decide whether compression works, so we offer a fitting with a specialist rather than leaving you alone with a size chart. Orders ship across the UAE with same-day dispatch on items in stock, and our team stays reachable on WhatsApp for sizing questions after your garment arrives.
Frequently asked questions
That follows your diagnosis, not your preference. CCL 1 (18-21 mmHg) suits prevention, travel and tired, heavy legs. CCL 2 (23-32 mmHg) is the usual therapeutic class for varicose veins, post-surgical recovery and mild lymphoedema. CCL 3 and CCL 4 are for advanced lymphoedema and severe venous disease. If you have a medical condition, ask the doctor or therapist treating you before ordering.
Measure first thing in the morning, before swelling builds up during the day, and keep the tape horizontal and snug without compressing the skin. Each product page carries the size chart for that garment. If a measurement falls between two sizes, or your limb does not follow the chart's proportions, book a fitting rather than guessing: a garment in the wrong size does not deliver the pressure it is rated for.
For most vein and lymphatic conditions the garment goes on before you get out of bed and comes off at night. After surgery your surgeon sets the schedule, often 24 hours a day for the first weeks and then daytime only. Follow the instructions you were given; this page does not replace them.
The elastic fibres fatigue with wear and washing. Most manufacturers, Juzo included, recommend replacing a garment after roughly three to six months of daily use. A garment that has become easy to put on has usually lost the pressure it is meant to deliver, even if it still looks intact.
Wash after every day of wear at up to 40C, by hand or on a gentle machine cycle in a laundry bag. Avoid fabric softener and bleach, and never tumble dry or dry the garment on a radiator, because heat destroys the elastane. Owning two garments and alternating them lets each recover and roughly doubles their working life.
No prescription is required to order from us. For a therapeutic class we would still rather you were diagnosed and measured first: compression that is too strong, or the wrong length, can do harm rather than simply nothing. Book a fitting and our specialist will work from your measurements.
Yes. Items in stock are dispatched the same day and delivered nationwide. Made-to-measure garments are knitted to your measurements and take longer; we confirm the timeline when the order is placed.
